The school/ after school for underprivileged children was started a year and a half back and supported by a team of proactive residents of the colony who call themselves Efforts Group, constituted primarily for taking care of the welfare of the residents. The children come to them for 2 hours every evening and are given remedial lessons. All the children have been enrolled in the Government Schools.
